Money Clinic
We hold a special Money Clinic from Monday to Friday from 10am-11am.
We want to help local people who are affected by the credit crunch by providing quick access to self help materials, help them budget and negotiate with creditors and provide information to help clients check their entitlement to benefits.
This clinic is suitable for people who can help themselves if we provide them with the information to do so.

Mortgage clinic
We operate a Mortgage clinic on Tuesday afternoons from 1 – 3pm for clients living or working in the Borough of Kingston.
The clinic offers advice and assistance to anyone who is concerned about any immediate mortgage problems or problems that might arise in the future.
Clients are seen by pre-booked appointments only.

Client going bankrupt as rents home, divorcing and has no assets. Her debts total £85,000 and are mostly loans and store cards. She was self employed as well as an employee, but her employer left the country owing client significant amount of wages, and there is now no prospect of her recovering these. Client has literacy problems and is also very volatile, she has 19 creditors and often has arguments with them and gets very distressed by this. She is also sometimes rude to her adviser, due to the high emotional charge the situation holds for her.
